Dr. Onyema Osuagwu

 

 

Dr. Osuagwu is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Director of the Computation, Circuits, Cognition and Cybernetics (C4) Laboratory, and Assistant Director of the Cybersecurity Assurance and Policy (CAP) Center and Affiliate Faculty with the CEAMLS Center.

Dr. Osuagwu has a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with an additional Neuroengineering concentration and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also has an M.A. and B.A. in Physics with a Mathematics concentration and a B.A. in Psychology with concentrations in Business, Computer Science, and Physics.

His research interests include but are not limited to: artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, biologically-inspired computing, neuromorphic circuity, secure Non-Von Neumann computer architectures, cognition and computation in the human brain, emergent systems and phenomena, the physics, math and symbolic representations of information, reverse engineering, Brain Machine Interfaces and synthetic biology.
